HALL OF FAME

 

Earl Tsuneki Onishi

 

Mr. Earl Tsuneki Onishi was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 1, 1939.  He graduated from Saint Louis High School and the University of Hawaii with a degree in Accounting.

 

In 1958, as a young man of 19, he won his first OBA “Doubles” Champion.  Since then, he has won numerous bowling championships here in the islands, Reno and Japan.  Here are a few of the championship titles that he has won throughout his bowling career.

 

1.      All Japan Invitational Bowling Champion in Osaka, Japan (1969, 1970 & 1971)

2.      1st. Runner-up in the “ABC” National Team Bowling Championship in Reno, Nevada (1977).

3.      Bowlers of Hawaii Nei Individual Match Game Champion (13 Championships 1967 to 1979)

4.      Oahu Bowling Association “Team” Champion (1967, 1971, 1977).

5.      Hawaii State Team Match Game Champions (1967, 1969, 1970, 1971 & 1972)
