Ronald J. Shim Sr. 2005

 

      Ronald J. Shim Sr. is the 44th person to be inducted into the Oahu Bowling Association Hall of Fame.  He was born on October 19, 1942 and graduated from high school in 1960.  He has been a member of the Oahu Bowling Association since 1985.  His achievements are many and include some of the following:

 

·        President of the Oahu BA 1995 through 1997.

·        Executive Director of the OBA for 18 months (1999-2000)

·        OBA Director of the Year 1986-1987

·        Secretary/Treasurer of the Hawaii State Bowling Association (HSBA) 1999 to present.

·        Current Executive Director of the HSBA.

·        Chairman for the Joint Lane Inspection committee and responsible for certification of all bowling centers on Oahu, Hawaii.

 

His continued dedication and commitment to bowling has qualified him for this honor.
